Premier's Reading Challenge

It was with great pleasure that the certificates and medal for the 2016 Premier’s Reading Challenge were awarded at the assembly on Tuesday 21 March 2017.  To receive a certificate, students need to have read 20 books in total between September and August. Fifteen books need to be from the Years 7 to 9 Premier’s Reading Challenge list and five own choice books.

Premier's Reading Challenge Certificate Recipients

Congratulations to Caroline A, Elina B, Alysha B, Yeheni F, Imogen M, Victoria M, Naina N, Rebecca O and Sneha S who all received their completion certificates.

When students have taken part in the Premier’s Reading Challenge each year from Year 3 to Year 9 they are awarded the Premier’s Reading Challenge. For the 2016 Challenge, Celine A has been awarded the Premier’s Medal. Across the whole of New South Wales only 433 medals were awarded in 2016, so this is a great achievement by Celine.

Students in Year 7 to 9 are eligible to enter the Premier’s Reading Challenge in 2017. Students in these years have been given information to take home and if they wish to take part, they just need to return the permission slip to the library.
