Mater Dei Ladies Lipstick Luncheon
Last Friday, two students from Year 11, Tarnee C and Maria K attended the Mater Dei Ladies Lipstick Luncheon held at the Campbelltown Catholic Club. Lit up in pink and with over 550 guests, the luncheon was a major fundraising event for this Good Samaritan school. The funds raised go directly towards the Community Participation Programs.
Mater Dei is a school for intellectually disabled children and St Patrick's College for Girls is a long time supporter. The students, along with Assistant Principal Mrs Karen Wright and I, were treated to the delightful choir of children, which was both moving and memorable. A special highlight was meeting and hearing from Australian TV personality and model Jennifer Hawkins.
